Teamwork makes the dream work
The biggest takeaway from this experience was how to help an already established brand be more successful.
As their first in-house copywriter, I did an inventory of the things they needed. The first being an official style guide to set some copy standards for consistency. I pulled copy from a lot of their existing campaigns but organized everything all in one place and strategically categorized them. Then I sprinkled in some technical grammar rules.
